North America dlc5.0 lamps apply for new regulations：

The DLC certification product catalog of the United States is used by public utility companies to promote high-performance solid-state lighting lamps and lanterns that have not been covered by "Energy Star" standard in all parts of the United States, mainly for commercial lighting of household names, such as mining lamps, street lamps, wall washing lamps, garage lights, etc. DLC (design lights consortium) is a joint organization of U.S. utility companies and regional performance efficiency agencies. It is a leader in the certification of energy-efficient lighting quality and performance. The goal of DLC is to promote the popularity of high-quality, energy-efficient lighting design in all commercial lighting areas.

On September 27, 2013, DLC released the technical requirements version 2.1. Compared with the previous version 2.0, the main contents are as follows:

1. Add light bars or tubes shorter than 1 foot for lighting. In version 2.0, this kind of products can only use LED light source of lamps for DLC certification. In version 2.1, the product can be applied directly without being tested in the lamp. But version 2.1 requires 375 or 500 lumens per foot, which is higher than the 4-foot tube.

2. Add 2 feet of light tube. In version 2.0, DLC only accepts 4-foot lamp applications. Version 2.1 can accept 2-foot lamp applications. The test requirements are similar to the 4-foot tube: in addition to a single bare lamp test, it also needs to be placed in the lamp panel. The 4-foot lamp requires two tubes to be tested in the lamp panel, and the newly added 2-foot lamp requires three tubes to be tested in the lamp panel.

That is to say, in addition to outdoor large-scale commercial lamps, DLC certification also includes 0.6m LED tubes, 1.2m LED lamps and LED panel lamps;
